Italy 2025 Tour Highlights:

Tickets/Experiences: Florence walking tour, Duomo entrance in Florence access with access to Giotto’s Bell Tower, Accademia access to see “The David”, Cinque Terre access via train and hiking pass, ferry tickets to Santa Margherita and Portofino, walking tour of Milan + Da Vinci’s Last Supper and Duomo entrance.

Florence:

Day 1: Flight to Italy :)

Day 2: Arrive in Italy!  You will be taken by private transport to Florence. However, first we will stop in the Emilia-Romagnia town of Parma. Yes, the home of parmigiano. After we explore the town and have lunch we will go to your hotel in the heart of Florence.  After checking into your hotel, you will have a mini walking tour of the city.  You will wander the streets of Renaissance Florence discovering the Duomo, the Baptistry, the Medici Palace, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and the Ponte Vecchio.  After a day of exploring, you will have your first family dinner in Florence!

Day 3: Today, we will continue exploring the city and you will gain access to see one of the Florentine prized Renaissance works of art - The David.  You will be amazed by the size of this marble statue as it towers over you.  Then after lunch, you will have access to the Duomo and the Baptistry.  You will have a birds eye view of the entire city after you climb the 414 steps of Giotto’s bell tower. 

Day 4: Easter Sunday: After Mass, we will remain in the city of Florence today. You will have time to discover the leather market, eat delicious pizza, and enjoy the parts of Florence that you missed.  Those who want to shop will have plenty of time to do so.  You will also venture to Piazzale Michelangelo to see the sunset over the Arno River at night.

Italian Riviera:

Day 5: Today, you will board the bus and head to the Italian Riviera.  The Italian Riviera is renowned for its palm-tree lined resort towns and colorful fishing villages. You will enjoy the Ligurian Coast for 3 days. Our home base will be Rapallo. This town has a great promenade that is perfect for a passagiata. La dolce vita will be sure to hit hard here!

Day 6: Get ready to visit the amazing Unesco World Heritage site, known as the Cinque Terre. We will board the early train so we can explore the 5 towns. The hiking trail provides AMAZING breathtaking views and vistas. The hike is not easy so get your steps in ahead of time. We will then go back to Rapallo for dinner.  

Day 7: Let’s board the ferry and visit the famous town of Portofino! The charming fishing village of Portofino is one of Italy’s most alluring resort destinations. This beautiful town features a small harbor with plenty of yachts. The harbor is lined with colorful homes, designer stores and chic restaurants. This small gem is home to only around 400 residents. After Portofino, we will stop in Santa Margherita to explore and hopefully lay on the beach for a little.

Milan:

Day 8: We will board the bus and make our way to Milan. We will begin exploring after we check into the hotel. Milan is know for its metropolitan feel, designer stores and foodie scene. This will be a stark difference to the last two regions.

Day 9 : You will have a guided tour to see one of Da Vinci’s most impressive works, The Last Supper. Then you will tour through the city and get a guided tour of the Duomo di Milano. Be sure to buy your last souvenirs and get your last gelato!

Day 10: Depart for US :(
